1981 Inventions first effects pedal was launched in 2019 - the 1981 Inventions DRV distortion pedal. It was designed by Matthew Hoopes in collaboration with Jon Ashley of Bondi Effects and quickly became hugely popular. In 2023 they released the 1981 Inventions LVL a low gain preamp overdrive.
