Information: 

Agustin Andrés was a luthier who worked in Madrid in the late 1890s and early 1900s. According to his labels he made guitars, bandurrias, mandolins and lutes from his workshop at 7, Calle D. Manuel Fernández y Gonzalez. He had at least two apprentices who went on to become well known guitar makers: Manuel Rodríguez Pérez (who established Rodriguez guitars and Julián Gómez Ramírez who went on teach Robert Bouchet, One of Agustín Andrés' guitars was played for many years by famous guitarist and composer Agustin Barrios Mangore. Agustín Andrés relocated to Paris around 1908 where he opened a shop at 7, Rue de Pateux.
