After building his first guitar in 1971 with his father, Mark Angus went on to build several more before going to work for Bob Mattingly in the mid 1970's at the World of Strings in Long Beach, CA.
For the past 25 years Angus has worked at The Guitar Shoppe in Laguna Beach, CA as a builder and head Repairman. Over the years he has made guitars for many local professionals including Carl Verheyen, for whom he built the "Carl Verheyen Studio" model. Currently Angus fcouses on building OM model acoustic guitars, and you can try one out at The Guitar Shoppe in Laguna Beach.
