Information: 

Ariel Ameijenda was born in Montevideo in the home of one of the most prominent luthiers of Uruguay, in 1963. In 1997 he opened a workshop in the old house on 1693 San Salvador Street. As a result of his work he travels repeatedly to the USA, highlighting his participation in 2007 at the Alexandria Guitar Festival, in 2008 at the New York Guitar Seminar, and in 2009 he exhibits his instruments at the convention organized by the Guitar Foundation of America, along with 40 colleagues from around the world, this being one of the events that brings together the greatest number of guitar fans around the world. In 2011 he participated in the luthiers show at the Isrlohn Guitar Symposium, Germany.

Ariel Ameijenda, teaches at the University School of Music : The Guitar, history of its construction from the Renaissance to the XXI century. In 2011 he taught the same course at the Federal University of Paraná, and at the EMBAP Academic Guitar Symposium in Curitiba. As of 2014, their guitars are represented in the USA exclusively by the Guitar Salon International. In 2014 he moved his workshop to Cerro de Los Burros, Piriápolis.
