Egilegor basses was founded by the luthier & bassist Imanol Artola Egilegor. Imanol, besides been luthier, He began by making instruments as an amateur, but developed his skills and ended up producing more complex models and designs and now offers bass models that are very difficult to find anywhere else. Egilegor make full use of CAD  to design their prototypes; so they are able to monitor characteristics as center of gravity, body cavities thicknesses, perfect fret spacing... prior to the construction of the instrument. Once the design is done, each component is machined using CNC to get a perfect assembly of all the components. All instruments are then assembled and finished manually to give the best sound and playability.
