Fernando Rubín Saglia was born in 1968 in Argentina but has been based in Mallorca since 2001. He studied classical guitar at the Carlos Lopez Buchardo National Conservatory in Buenos Aires,  In 1996 Fernando Rubín started to learn luthiery with Rodolfo Cucculelli in Buenos Aires and made his first guitar. Since then he has made guitars influenced by the Spanish masters (Torres, Hauser, Fleta, Simplicio). In the early 2000’s he specialized in applied acoustics for guitars with Alan Carruth.
