Ken Smith has been making electric basses since 1979 in his workshop in Perkasie, PA. Over the years Smith developed many innovative features that have become industry standards. Circa 2017 Ken Smith still selects the wood for each bass from his in-house exotic wood supplies and he does the final setup of each bass.
