Howard Robinson worked as a furniture restorer and cabinet maker before moving into instrument making in 2008. Robinson makes custom solid bodied electric and bass guitars in North Devon under the Lindsay Wilson brand name.  Robinson makes around six guitars or basses, per year as custom orders. The headstock to body work, fingerboard, frets, inlay and pickguard, is all handmade by Robinson, except for the neck blanks, which he buys in.
