Mario Grimaldi (born 1957) is an Italian luthier. He trained with Carlo Raspagni at his luthiery school in Milan and has been making guitars since 1986. He has made guitars for important artists, including Alirio Diaz. In 2002 he met Pietro Gallinotti's son, Carlo, Gallinotti's only pupil and assistant, from whom he learned Gallinotti's construction method. He lives and works in Montaldo Bormida, Alessandria, Italy.
