Information:

Risson Amplifiers was established by Bob Rissi. From 1961 to 1967 Bob worked on many Fender amplifier designs for both tube and solid state amps, working alongside Leo Fender, Freddy Travares, Don Randall, George Fullerton, Paul Spranger and Dick Evans. From 1967 to 1970 he worked at Rickenbacker as Director of Amplifiers where he designed the Transonic amplifiers used by Led Zeppelin and other music superstars. In the early 1970s he established Risson Amplifiers and was also the owner of the Norcraft Company. Risson made both solid state and tube amplifiers until the mid 1980s when Bob Rissi left to concentrate on his computer company. Around 2004 Risson restarted - making small numbers of tube amplifiers. Bob Rissi died in 2020.
