Markjan Vermeer is a Dutch luthier who builds fine acoustic guitars. Vermeer was inspired by by Dick Dijkman to follow a career in guitar making. He trained at the Centre for Musical instrument Building in Puurs in Belguim before starting an internship with Sant Cruz Guitars in 2011. He now runs his own workshop in Delden in the Netherlands.
