Yokoyama Guitars was founded in July 2006, by former Morris master luthier Tadashi Yokoyama. He launched his original range of high quality acoustic guitars after nearly 30 years of experience in the industry. Yokoyama  manufactures the guitars at his factory in Nagano where he oversees the entire process from design to production.
