Information:

Salvador Castillo comes from the famous guitar building town of Paracho, Michoacan (Mexico) and was born into a family of guitar makers. It's no surprise that he grew up making guitars and opened his own workshop at the age of 20 in 1989.  In 2000 he collaborated with the master luthier Abel García Lopez to make a replica of Hauser Guitar from 1927. In 2001 he won first place in the annual Paracho guitar makers' competition for his student guitar and 2nd place for his concert guitar.  At present, he is constructing only his own guitar models and remains a serious student of flamenco guitar playing. Salvador’s guitars are known for their distinct sound and have been sold to many professionals and aficionados all over the world.
