Limited run of roughly 75 in 1988. Many more Unity series basses around. These are as rare as hens teeth these days with a total of 9 accounted for in 10 years of searching. Solid Koa, neck through with Bloodwood stringers, hand-rubbed Tung oil finish, (FAST neck!). Ebony fret board. Kahler trem. Non-original pick-ups in this one, I have no idea, and can't find any info on, what the originals were. One of the best electrics I've ever used in 40+ years of using a boatload of different axes.....

I guess i own the 11th. She's heavy, solid, super resonant natural wood. Fastest neck ever. Plays like butter.

I'd like to know your serial number, I've been trying to compile a list, and so far I have seen a span from 03358271 to 03358296.
That represents 25 units.
I now own 03358296

Got it from daddy's junky music in NH in early 90's on clearance for very little. I regret parting with it (for next to nothing).

Bought this guitar new in 1987, serial no.. #03358228 it's in very good condition . I plan to attend the Antique Road Show with it ,when it comes to my city. This guitar , rare that it is, needs to be evaluated as one of the best guitars made in the U S A and for collectors inquiry to own one. Thank You. Eddie

Sorry for not see your reply earlier.
My SN 03358256. I'm original owner. Bought NEW pin Atlanta 1988 (pretty sure). I'm a fusuin player w many mach 4 guitars. But this is the best. Feels so solid. Plays itself. I added split coil and phase switches, and Roland GK-2. Timing coincided w starting a family. So recently, it's been sitting in original hardshell. Fretboard feels like teflon. Gonna see if host lets me add pics. Contact [email protected] for more info. Appreciate all info u guys have posted. Don't know how to price this. It's like my 3rd daughter.
03358273 here. Beautiful, all

Heres another for your list. Bought in Middleburg Fl. in 1988 and have been the ONLY owner since serial# 0335885 all original except the neck PUP it went dead so swapped to a DiMarzio Humbucker . What an AWESOME sound
I own 03358241

Glad to meet you, Peavey Impact 1 brothers! Just put new strings on mine.
Awesome guitar. Thinking of putting new pickups in, but with the new strings it sounds so good maybe I don't need to.

I have one of these Peavey guitars. I called Peavey and tried to find out how many were made. They would not share that information. I see more basses than six string guitars.
Peavey made some great guitars back in the day.
mine is going up for sale

Purchased in 1988, great guitar, original hard shell case. Serial #03358230 ... interestingly mine does not have the inscription on the head stock (blank, does not say Peavy, Impact 1 Unity Series".
